In 2021 I walked the Bibbulmun Track. This was done in two sessions. During April and May I walked with Stephen Holden from Denmark to Walpole and then Northcliffe to Collie. Then in August and September I walked the remaining sections but this time travelling from north to south, Shenton Park to Kalamunda, Kalamunda to Collie with Marcus McGregor, Northcliffe to Walpole, and finally Denmark to Albany.

It was interesting to experience the track at two different times of year and travelling in different directions. I recommend walking north to south in late winter or early spring. That way you enjoy the wildflowers while not walking into the sun for several hundred kilometres!
